Enough with the hate on Selena...

It is not about hating on this young girl. It is about the fact that she can't act to save her life. PERIOD! She ruins this movie. You should not get paid to learn how to act there are plenty of young actors that can actually act.

She is a pro actor which means she gets paid to act.. well my dear this child needs acting classes and/or to quit. Who cares how she is personally it is her ability to carry a performance or lack there of that comes into question. Maybe Disney will take her back?

I didn't even know who she was (nor do I really know or care now) but she turned this mildly entertaining car flick into an irritating catastrophe as soon as she appeared on the screen. So obviously her disney image can't have anything to do with my negative reaction.

I think the hating just had to do with her character in the movie, not necessarily her. You're right, she has, indeed, come a long way, but man, was she annoying in this movie, LOL!

The only reason why she's getting work is because of her Disney star status. She sucks as an entertainer. This movie was a pile of *beep* She played a bi-polar little brat. One minute, she's pulling a gun on someone and the next minute she's screaming oh God. Then she goes back into bad ass attitude again. Have you ever pulled a gun on someone? I have on someone who broke into my car, it's not a good feeling. But she did it easily like it was natural, but then why was she crying when the role was reverse?

The movie and her ability to act is trash. Without her Disney status, she would never be relevant, especially with her highly filtered auto-tune voice.
