I would just like to let you Americans know...

English people do not say "G'day ,mate" lol.
That is Australia.
You're welcome.

Edit*
This post was in reference to Sal in the British Invasion episode.
They were trying to say British phrase and Sal said "G'day, mate" lol.
It isn't that big a deal but it was quite embarrassing.

The 1983 Falkland war ... Yet again the Brits forget their history

reply

No, I just don't understand why you are talking about it.
Have you suffered from a head injury or something?

reply

I swear, this ongoing exchange sounds exactly like King Arthur's encounter with the mud-collecting peasant Dennis (and his "wife") in Holy Grail.

I was just waiting for some reference to "farcical aquatic ceremonies", and I would've spit my drink all over my monitor.

As usual the Brits resort to personal insults when they lack knowledge ... Learn some history over your tea and crumpets

reply

Why are you ragging on the Brits so much?

reply

That reminds me of someone who called me a "daft yankee" because I asked about a spot of tea and crumpets once. lol Opps...

reply

Personal insults? LOL
Have some self awareness, son. You have been insulting me this whole time, you dumb ass.

You've got some serious issues.
We're on the Impractical Jokers board and for some insane reason you are talking at me about the Falklands simply because I am British?

Seriously, WTF is wrong with you?
You're a simple minded bigot and you are truly embarrassing yourself and your people.
I guarantee your fellow Americans would read this and feel ashamed to be from the same country as you.

And what exactly is wrong with tea or crumpets? lol
They are just a type of food and drink and Brits aren't the only people on the planet who like them.
You are stereotyping in the most ridiculous way.
It's just as stupid as me suggesting that all Americans are dumb or fat.

But because I am not a moron like you are, I am not going to generalize and suggest that all Americans are idiots just because you are ;-)

reply

I'm just kidding bro ... Please understand that we are from different countries ... We Americans love democracy .... While you enjoy being reared by a queen ...

reply

LOL We don't get reared by a queen any more than you get reared by a president.
I don't think you were kidding, I think you may have problems...

reply

BeOneOfUs, I think you should ignore him/her. They're just f-ing with you at this point or they're shamefully stupid.

reply

Blue lolli is right ... Just a joke n everyone chill out

reply

If you are just ****ing with me then I have no problem lol.
But it is easy to misinterpret people on this site, I'm sure you know that.

reply

It was only a joke when others called you out. That's enough dear.

reply

Calm down bro it's just IMDb ... Put your powdered wig on & watch cricket

reply

Yes that's why I apologized .... But why are u all upset w me & not littlepretty who called you Australian ?

reply

I'm not upset with anyone, man lol.
But how else would you expect someone to reply to the comments you made?

reply

Let it go people .... Chill out

reply

Alright bro.

reply

Lotta mileage out of the thread eh?

they might not say g'day mate, but they do use mate. I've heard a lot of English people use that.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog

reply

Thanks for informing me! lol
Seriously, being British myself, I am aware we say that...
But "G'day, mate" is purely Australian.
They are known for saying that. So when an American says it, thinking they are doing an impression of an English person, it is pretty embarrassing.

reply

I'm pretty sure Sal was joking, like pretending to be super ignorant to where he was, hence him going 'eh?' to the camera right after. Sort of like Q having to play dumb with the fella in the bar about American history.

reply

agree. We Americans are DUMB but not THAT DUMB! It was totally meant as a joke.
