What exactly is it about? without spoilers of course.
I've seen ads for it and it looked good, but rarely hear people ever mention it. I've heard it has horror elements to it? Is that true? I thought it was supposed to be a more grounded realistic show.
Anyway, is it worth watching? I am looking for a new series to get into, but find it difficult to get invested in many shows.
Yes, it's quite good. It's more of a historical mystery/fantasy type of series. Imagine if Leonardo Da Vinci aside from all his unique talents was also a swashbuckling rogue in the mold of Errol Flynn or Harrison Ford. That David S. Goyer was the creator and wrote a lot of episodes makes it more surprising at how good it is;it may be his best work. It has the right tone for its admittedly silly premise (make Da Vinci an action lead) and there's a good mixture of mystery, action, sex, humor, and grittiness to the proceedings.
