shareI love it too. I love the locales they show and still exist. The writing is great. Matthew is excellent. Yes, this is good. I have to watch S1 again because I don’t think I got into it the first time.
This is kind of like Chinatown in many ways.
I’m liking Season 2 even more than 1. I grew up with the Raymond Burr version of Perry Mason, but that didn’t tell us anything about Perry became Perry. This show has some real viscera and is very engaging. I hope it finds an audience.
shareThe first series announced him. And Della and LA actually. After the last episode of S1, they played a rendition of the famous Perry Mason theme. So you knew that S2 would be Mason as a lawyer and Della, who is actually better at it than he is at times. But Hamilton Burger in S1 said something I think we are going to see next. He said no one ever confesses on the stand. That is classic Perry Mason from the series you mentioned. I think we will see that next.
I love seeing Los Angeles in the ‘30s. It was the most beautiful at this time and a far cry from what it is now.
