shareI don't think he meant it in a mean way, although, yeah, it is a little more acid than some of his other parodies. Apparently she initially blocked it - or blocked his video (I don't quite recall) - but relented after a small backlash basically accusing her of not being able to laugh at herself. She said it was an oversight, but I've always wondered if she got a little upset by the content of the song.

shareI've never heard anything concrete from Gaga, other than the official statement B.S. stuff about, "Oh, there was a mixup." Then again, it's not like I've got Lady Gaga's home phone number or anything, so I don't know why I'd know anything.
To be fair, I could see where it might be a little off-putting to hear Al rip into her performance style and kinda making fun of her for being a bit of a phony or a kook or whatever. But, again, I don't think Al was trying to be mean. I don't think - based on interviews and how he treats people generally - that he's a mean person - not even a little bit.
