Jumping off of the roof of a short house would not kill a zombie!

This film was idiotic from start to finish, but the ending takes the cake as one the most idiotic in the history of film.

No way would jumping off of the roof of a short house kill a zombie. But that is exactly what this film implies.

The only way that a jumping method would possibly work to kill a zombie would be if the zombie jumped off of a very high cliff and then died as a result of splattering into millions of pieces.

If a person jumps off a roof, it is highly likely that the head will hit the ground which would kill a zombie or the brain will be damaged which would also kill the zombie.

So? You saw Wade put the shot gun shell into the barrel of the gun. If Maggie still lived, Wade was going to do as Maggie had wanted. He would have shot her to end her life. So the ending is not idiotic. It showed one way Maggie herself was choosing to die and it showed another way which was her being killed by her father.
