Batman wasn't really much of a hero and neither was Catwoman (spoilers)

Batman was too late in figuring out Riddler's plan and let him destroy Gotham with a number of deaths. He was a really slow sleuth. And there wasn't really much that he did to save the people after the flood. Everyone else could have figured out how to pull themselves into safety. And Catwoman spent the majority of the movie needing the assist than actually taking care of things herself. And Robert Pattinson only had one emotion throughout the whole movie- brooding.

Pattinson is such an amazing dramatic actor if you have seen him in 'Good Time' (the film that convinced the director that he'd make the perfect dark Bruce Wayne).

To me I actually found Pattinson's performance in this to be lacking. He made a brilliant Batman (so glad they didn't go with a Bale like throaty voice) yet his Bruce indeed needed more range.

I agree. I know he can be a great dramatic actor. I've definitely seen him in things outside of Twilight. He's very good. But in this one, he felt very one dimensional. I was hoping in the scene when he visits Alfred in the hospital we would see more of his vulnerable side, but he still picked the same acting choices.

Well not his fault as it is all to do with the director who if they are not happy with the performance they tell them to do it again with advice on what they want out of them. That is the job as a director.

Tell that to the critics. Actors all the time get Razzied for bad performances with the directors being innocent through it all.
