What was he trying to do with Deckard? (Spoiler alert)

I thought the whole point of capturing Deckard was to find out why he was able to make babies with other replicants. Where was he shipping Deckard to with the super female replicant?

reply

Off-world where Wallace Corp. has all that they need to extract what they need from Deckard about the baby, and who helped him hide the baby. As Niander Wallace said, it was clever for Deckard to be empty of information, so he needs time and privacy to get what he needs from Deckard (torture), and incidentally, would discover the revolution, etc.

Found the whole taking him off world part lame: this is an overcrowded and cruel future where human life has almost zero value and imagine life outside the major cities is worthless....
Decker was basically missing for decades in radio active Las Vegas, who was going to look for him? The ACLU?
Might as well just sent Decker to 'the mountain' or 'the farm' or done whatever right where they where in LA.

For such a long movie they spent little time showcasing the world they live in

I concur that getting Deckard off-world seemed a little lame/contrived, especially given Wallace's total power and ability to ignore, if not control, the LAPD. Recall, Luv welcomed him back to Earth, so it is entirely possible he would prefer to go off-world in any event.
