I suspect her world is where Juliana went at the end, just as Smith put a bullet through her shoulder. But yeah, she didn't really do much other than freak out Inspector Kido, brood a little, and travel. They neglected Juliana's storyline in general this season and Trudy was no exception.

Trudy helped setup the premise that one cannot travel to the alternate reality unless their alter ego is already dead. She also reveals that Juliana is dead.
