The sequel is going to happen. Listen to the blu-ray commentary. The plan is to make Skyline parts 1 - 4, so LMAO at all the haters.

I hope so! I liked the 1st movie and really liked the twist at the end! Best part of the movie! Now that the lead actor has been on the SYFY series Haven and out there in the public eye more , any following movies might draw more SYFY fans to them.

I agree, that ending wasn't really fair.

And it's a little cheesy, but I am excited to see that guy kick those aliens' asses. I had a feeling it was gonna happen when he had that guy up against the wall.

So yeah. And btw, I am not gonna love a guy just because I'm told I should.

The movie did suck, but the ending was the best part of the movie. I'm not talking about the fact that the movie was over, but the scene before it. I know they didn't do much with that ending, but it seemed like a very original idea (I don't know if it is) and it is definitely very interesting to see how it will be in the sequel. Jarrod's brain controlling the alien's body trying to protect his pregnant wife. He now has the strength to kill the other aliens. That seems pretty original to me. I am looking forward to the sequel because of this and there will be a sequel. They made plenty of money to not ignore a sequel.

I guess that's the point: the ending of the first film was anything but an ending. If there was no sequel the ending would be completely crap and way too open, but now we get to find out if the human race will fight back and win.

Obviously this is only good for the Sci-Fi fans but I'll be watching the next installment.

Straight to DVD I'm sure. It'll happen mainly because the first movie left a cliffhanger. We never got to see what was happening throughout the rest of the world. I would like to see a sequel, but would hope and pray it was 10x's better then the first film. Maybe we'll get more background info on the aliens and why they are doing what they are doing.
