Jenna is sucha horrible person

Time after time she kept giving Ryan hope that they could be together and every time Ryan thinks he's finally happy and they can be together that bitch goes and leaves him. Was it just a game to her? to see how many times she could fool him into believing she loves him?

She knew Ryan was in love with her since day one and shes been playing him ever since. He was like some little puppet to her that she made dance and do whatever she wanted.

Thats what i love about these high school girls, i get older they stay the same age.

Ya I thought she would flip flop on Ryan. She always seemed flaky. Granted this is not a real life example. I have know many women like that. Just so fickle; girls that have no sense of value in life, just living on pure emotions.

I didn't expect Ryan and Jenna to end up together, and I would have felt cheated if they did. I'm surprised it took them this long to hook up once.

But maybe I'm putting too much on her. Ryan isn't exactly the epitome of happiness and satisfaction, I can't imagine being with him makes life wonderful very often.
They both seemed unstable, which is odd that they didn't stay together longer because misery loves company.

I'm glad the show ended with dog ( real or imagined) actually being Man's best friend and path to happiness. Not that women don't have a special place in a man's life, just not as stable, consistent, or reliable as the unwavering loyalty of a dog.

What the *beep* are you talking about? Why does Jenna have no sense of value? Drew was a really nice guy who maintained a cross country relationship with his girlfriend\wife who clearly truly loved Jenna.

You're looking at this wrong. Drew loved Jenna, Ryan loved a fictionalized Jenna who only existed in his mind. Ryan also constantly tried to manipulate her and sabotage her relationship. Ryan is the villain of the piece. But because he's the main character, we find it easier to sympathize with his position.

Drew admitted to his mistakes and tried to change.

Ryan did not.

I agree, Jenna was not a nice person, she acted all sweet and nice, but she admitted that she knew Ryan had a crush on her since the beginning, and she totally used him to take care of Wilfred because of it.
She wasn't that good of a dog owner either! She didn't neuter him and allowed him to run around off-leash constantly (I mean if you're going to let your dog run around, at least make sure he's neutered so he doesn't go around impregnating other females or getting into territorial fights with other male dogs), she hardly had him trained, she constantly pawned him off on Ryan, I mean he was with the dog most of the time! My guess is she wanted to have a cute little pet, but couldn't handle the responsibility.
She cheated on Drew, more than once! The one I ended up feeling bad for was Drew, sure, he had issues with being competitive, but he was working through it, and he never mistreated Jenna in any way, in fact he allowed himself to be treated badly by her. When he first moved to LA she constantly berated him for whatever she could, and he would just look down and apologize to Ryan!
Ryan wasn't a nice person either, everything he did had an ulterior motive, he didn't just help Jenna because it was the right thing to do, he did it because he was in love with her, and he wanted her to love him.
Honestly I would have liked Jenna to end up with Ryan, they deserved each other, they were terrible people.

She even admitted it in one episode. While yes, the way she left was terrible, it's for the best in the end. Everything Ryan loved about her was on the surface. He could never have had real happiness with her.

And he kind of did it to himself. He found out early on she was engaged to what turned out to be a pretty nice, if kind of stupid, guy. But he didn't let go or move on. He just kept hoping she would eventually love him back, which was never going to happen.
