this will bomb big time

I don't think the subtitles are what is going to kill this movie. The terrible plot and bad jokes will.

This actually looks like it could be one of his better films.

As one of the few people who have seen the film, yes it will bomb. The movie's a real stinker.

I have to agree. I'm a huge Will Ferrell fan, but this movie looks pretty boring. I'm sure there will be a few good jokes throughout, but there's no way I'm dropping 12 bucks to see this. I'll wait for redbox to get it. Hope it does well, but I doubt it.

I don't know it is a Will Ferrel those don't make much to begin with movie. but at a meager $6 million budget it would be hard for this film do do any less then 5 or 6 million. Even if it Loses money it probably won't be very much for it to be a big a bust as you said it would have to bring in a total of 1 million or less It probably might open at a little more than that. I am myself going to see this movie It looks hilarious.

Honestly once you watch enough anime, you can pretty much read subtitles without even looking at them. You get used to it, so a movie like this doesn't bother me slightly.
