Werewolves stop ageing

Since werewolves stop ageing, wouldn't humans notice?

reply

Actually, according to the books, werewolves in that tribe do age, but it's slowed down a lot. The La Push tribe would notice, but they don't have issues being protected by werewolves. They an isolated community and their members don't visit the outside world much, so the chances of anyone spilling the beans would be minimal. The only people who might notice certain members not aging as fast would be outsiders who visit a lot, like Bella. However, Bella doesn't technically count, because she's in on the secret.

Interesting, so could they die of old age, or anything that could kill a human?

I think that it would take a lot to kill them, since they can regenerate. It's similar to how it takes a lot to kill a vampire in this series; you'd need a bunch of creatures as strong and fast as vampires in a large group to take down even one of these werewolves. The werewolves themselves would probably die eventually, but not until a long time has passed, maybe even a century or two, depending on how slow their aging is.
