This movie is for people who 'get it'

You shouldn't even have to ask what "it" is. People who know will like this movie.

I think I was too old for this movie but I saw it right after Crazy, Stupid Love which I really enjoyed so much more. I thought it was for the same age group but maybe I'm wrong.

reply

crazy stupid love is absolute contrived schmaltzy garbage that takes place in some fake universe where there exists only one bar that everyone goes to all the time.

reply

I don't know what people saw in Crazy Stupid Love. I guess I don't 'get it'.

When they went to the brother's house all the houses looked like the ones from The Sopranos, not just on the outside but also inside the brother's house.

I got it and enjoyed it very much. Sly humor is sometimes the best!

I got it and I gave it an 8.

reply

I "get it"

OP and fellow sheep, being pretentious about "getting it" hardly explains why you liked it. I see nothing in the film that anyone wouldn't have gotten. It's a pretty universal theme and done many times before. But getting it doesn't mean thinking it was well written or executed - which it wasn't.

Set aside your unearned smug and explain what you liked about the film and why.

reply

I don't really know what "it" is, but still loved this movie.

If you think there was some hidden agenda then you really need to think again, crap is crap, get it or pretend to get whatever it is, it's still crap and Aniston is the worst excuse for an "actress" in the history of cinema.

reply

I feel you.
