I'm desensitized to CGI worlds, but this still looks interesting.

CGI doesn't have any "wow" factor for me anymore, but I'm intrigued by the story James Cameron is going to tell. I'm also a big fan of his other films.

Between 'Avatar: The Way of Water' and the 'Dune' sequels, it's nice to have two big budget science-fiction franchises by amazing directors to look forward to.

Same. After all those super hero shows with the astronomical overuse of CGI, the wow factor is pretty much gone for me. That and games these days are more or less pretty much on par with movie CGI so if you're a gamer like I am, it's even more unamazing although scenery still makes me enjoy it more and this seems to show a lot of underwater world scenery. Reminds me of Valerian.

He has to a lot to keep up for compared to Ridley Scott and his sequel failures. The fact he's doing 3 more Avatars after this... I dunno. Maybe too ambitious.
