Better than you might expect.

This is a brutal cynical film and there are no good guys, no humour and no romantic interests. Also, no gratuitous sex scenes no stupidly unrealistic gun fights no fast cars no silly gadgets.
It is a consistent, well paced hard drive of a film as Jackie Chan seeks the people responsible for his daughters death.
And yes, at the heart of it is a man with a very specific skill set but that's what gets the story running and if we can accept that then everything that follows is reasonable and reasonably low key.
