I didn't buy the party scene. Many teens wear so much makeup, they easily pass for women ten years older.
Anyway, would 18-year olds really call out a good-looking 32 year old? In my experience, teens would be jealous rather than dismissive.
Of course they're jealous. The girls are jealous they don't look like her. They guys are jealous they can't have her. So the only thing they can attack her about is the fact that she's older than them. Nobody would think she's 14 years older than them, but even if she's 22-23, they can make themselves feel better by saying, "What's a college student or recent grad doing at a high school seniors' party?"
shareI thought she could easily have passed for twenty-five. My wife disagreed, and thought she looked every bit of thirty-two. When I was an eighteen-year-old guy, a thirty-two-year-old woman like that would have been irresistibly attractive to me and any of my friends. Maybe things have changed.
