I totally agree. It felt like a parody about Scientology.
And to all the people that say "stop criticizing if you can't make something better":
Even if I do, it will still suck, so why bother?

I wont say it is good, but the plot and execution that made it work was interesting. with better writing and much bigger budget, it could have been fun. much of it seemed to rely on the low budget. just needs to be written better.

yes, it falls apart in many ways and times, but the bookending plot was really cool and, I thought, well done
