When is Daddy’s Home 3 going to be made and released? I really like these movies and other similar domestic comedies (i.e. Vacation movies, Arrested Development, Modern Family). They are fun movies that give families a reason to get together and go to the movies even when all the kids are adults.

As for plot of the film, maybe Brad’s dad Don has decided he’s actually gay and marries another older guy who would thus become Brad’s new stepdad hence the name Daddy’s Home 3 and the two have to learn to get along with each other with silly shenanigans throughout. Maybe Liam Neeson could play the stepdad since Mark Wahlberg mentioned in an interview that he would like Liam Neeson to be in Daddy’s Home 3.

It's probably not going to happen. The second one made way less than the first. So the studio probably saw where it was going and scrapped any plans for a third one.

It seemed to do decently in North America but both movies did not do well overseas. I guess the humor plays differently in other countries and didn't land for them.

I was hoping this would become a series like the Vacation movies.
