What If Frank Darabont Had Stayed?

Would the show have gone on as long as it has? How do you think he would've handled story arcs like The Governor, Negan/Saviors, Whisperers etc?

Thoughts, Therories?

Who's idea it was to expand six episode season to 16 episodes? I believe it would have been much shorter series with Darabont.

Darabont would've definately not spent two full seasons each on the Saviors & Whisperers. He would've wrapped those story's up a lot quicker!!

I think the Michonne character would have been toned down quite a bit. The early Darabont episodes were far more realistic, without all the superheroics. He probably would have kept The Governor from becoming almost a slasher movie character as well. We would have had a series about real people facing the zombie outbreak.

He would have run out of stories very quickly just the same as it is now. There are only a very small number of stories that can be told in a living dead apocalypse because all the characters become base because of survival.
