Eugene's Travels To Meet Stephanie

I just need some clarification because maybe I misheard something or didn't hear a key piece of dialog.

Eugene is in Hilltop, located in Virginia, when he makes radio contact with Stephanie. She tells him she is in West Virginia, and that's where they will rendezvous, correct? Then why would Eugene and friends travel to Pittsburgh where they meet Princess?

Stephanie told them to meet at the Railyards near Charleston, West Virginia. I think the city was Charleston.

That would make more sense. I suppose I got myself confused because Princess said she was from Pittsburgh and some internet digging said they met Princess in Pittsburgh in the comics. :)
