Claudia Is a Fun Character

She is bringing a lot of humor to the show as an unruly child and rebellious teen. Lestat and Louis attempting to deal with her as new parents is very amusing.

In the novel, yes.

In THIS woke dumpster fire where a 20-something ADULT actress plays the "child vampire" Claudia?

HELL NO!!!

reply

In the novel she's 5. In the movie 11. In the miniseries, she's 14 - likely 18 when filming. It's easy to look 14 at that age.

I thought the novel was a masterpiece, but the miniseries adds much more dimension, character development and realism. The parenting issues are more realistic, Claudia matures emotionally over the years and eventually develops an interest in a young man. Claudia in the novel and movie was more one dimensional.

How DARE you insult Anne Rice's MASTERPIECE to try and justify Encounter with a Turd Pile crapping all over the source material.

I bet you wouldn't be heaping praise on them if they did the reverse and wrote a remake of The Green Mile and "reimagined" John Coffey as a 12 year old blond kid instead of the 6'8 adult black man that the character is depicted as in Stephen King's original novel and its FAITHFUL 1990s film adaptation.

AMC must be seriously paying you guys to spread the propaganda all over social media about how "good" this wokefest is. Hopefully that won't help the ratings for this turd.

"wokefest"
The term used by bigots.

I'm sure you're not watching the miniseries since you can't get pass your own hatred. Your loss.

Intense episode tonight.
I read the novel. I watched the movie. But, I FEEL the miniseries.
