I didn’t like the Uncharted film, it really lacked the humour and exciting adventure of the games, the screenplay was very bland.

that was the idea it was A PREQUEL
It’s not a prequel though, it’s not connected to the canon of the games at all, it’s a reimagining of the games’ story adapted into a film.
Yes, this film is a story of how Nathan and Sully met which could have been a fun story with funny dialogue but most of the jokes fell flat. Oh, Sully has Tinder on his phone, hilarious.
Also just because it’s an origin film doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have the exciting action set pieces and sense of adventure the games had, it’s still supposed to be an action adventure film after all.
I’m glad you like the film but I was massively let down by it and if they make a sequel I hope they get a better screenplay.
I can tell you didn't like it, I mean I would also try and post in every topic of a movie I thought was a dumpster fire. It only makes sense. One question though, are you sure you didn't like it?
