What If?

First of all I thoroughly enjoyed this highly implausible film but the ending leaves yourself asking the simple question. What if this supposed button "cleared her"? In the court of law it wouldnt because its too circumstantial but just say they eventually tracked down the real killer. Cops notify parents their daughter is exhonerated. Then what? Parents track them down in Venezuela and tell them they know she's innocent? Then what? She could claim plausible deniabilty about the prison escape but I'm almost certain he would go to jail for a very long time if they returned to the states for breaking her out of jail and all that entails.

Also, how the hell do they even live in this third world country? What kind of jobs can they even get down there with fake identities. So many questions.

Good question, but to be fair, a lot of gringos live in third world countries, paying in various ways. I'm moving to one myself, in three years.
