Lame Red Dawn Ripoff

I know this had been said, but I had to chime in on the subject. The subject of my post pretty much said it all, but I must say I hope that no sequels are made of this movie. If you are going to copy the plot of another movie, you should at least make your version somewhat interesting. This movie is dull as dishwater because nothing really exciting or even interesting happens until the end. I know this is part of a series of books but I find no redeeming qualities to this story to make me want to continue to watch any further movies.

There won't be, it flopped.

Movie =/= books

So other than the main plot, which is pretty much the entire movie, I guess they aren't much alike.

Seriously, John Marsden watched "Red Dawn", which was so bad it was good, and made an Australian version of it. Hey, nothing wrong there, that's half of the movies and film being made these days. So, just admit it, and move on.

You got it right -- ripoff of Red Dawn, and pretty lame at that.

The Aussies couldn't do much against an invading force now anyhow, since they rolled over and played dead when the government seized most of their useful guns.

No. It is a lame filming of a book which is a lame rip off of Red Dawn.

Red dawn was the first thing that I thought of, this is basically red dawn except the koreans or japs don't parachute down and chris hemsworth isn't in it.
