SPOILER IF READ..Why Did Godzilla?

Attack Kong when he Saw him? Look I Grew up watching Godzilla, I know that MF will run and attack anything he sees and gives no care about Humans or collateral damage, he is just like "Yooo a monster, lets go!" But after GvK since both saved each others life, I thought they at least had some respect for each other. Godzilla has to remember him too, because he remembered Mothra when she showed. So idk, just wondering. Loved this movie though. Keep making more!

At the end of the last film, the two had a begrudging respect for one another, but it was made clear that they agreed to go their separate ways. Godzilla is king of the surface world and Kong rules inner Earth. Kong showing up violated that. Also, Godzilla had been sensing that some major monkey-ish enemy was about to pop up from the underworld, and may have mistakenly thought Kong was that ape.

I haven't seen the movie yet, however its an established fact that giant lizards remember more so about giant moths than giant apes
