Anyone remember that killer croc movie from 1999? Seemed like this was trying to ape that a little bit. Quirky characters, violent deaths, crazy premise.

Yes. That is a superior movie to this.

I agree, this one was way more uneven in terms of laughs. The dialogue and characters on LP is part of that films charm. This one just doesn't have it.
