Wonderful movie by Steven Spielberg. Absolutely superb.

I was a bit sceptical when I read Spielberg was making this. At first glance you might consider it self indulgent. But having seen the finished product I definitely feel it was a personal journey worth telling. I was both moved and inspired - and it seems many others have been too.

I enjoyed it well enough, but I did not cry. Neither did my wife.

The scene near the end when his mother is apologizing to him really got to me. Not everyone cries at the same moments, of course. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Despite some criticism, I enjoy the movie, but I didn't cry. I was actually quite disappointed that the movie didn't make me feel any sadness, I was sure that at least the divorce scene would move me.
