that Pam Hupp not only kills Betsy but Louis Gumpenberger. I really wish somehow he could’ve been saved. I don’t know, maybe if Carol had alerted the 911 dispatcher to send police right away because other people in the neighborhood could be at risk.
Pam shot that poor man multiple times and it’s worse because he was a complete stranger to her.
Pam is a disgusting person and has no remorse for what she did and to think that she tried really hard to frame Betsy’s husband?!?! I can’t believe the dumb police investigators fell for her story!!

From what is in the book, it is clear from the start that Faria was innocent and how all the evidence pointed away from him.
What even adds to the disgust is that ANY police officer with the minimal knowledge of criminalistic would know it, too. And as another poster mentions, the prosecutor to this day remains unapologetic.
