...the perfect one for figuring out if people are idiots or smart when it comes to films.

This is not a good film. If you think it is, I could explain to you for 30 minutes why it is not. But since you thought it was, you'll likely not understand my argument...so go ahead and continue to think it's a good film. Hell a great film. Just know deep down that you're actually a pretty stupid person and have no business commenting on films.

370,000 people on IMDB gave this an average rating of 8.1.

What a joke. It's a 6.2 at best.

6.2 means good. this movie is better than a 6.2, easily, but let me humour you.

5-5.9 means average/above average. 6-7.9 means good/really good. 8-8.5 is great, 9-9.9 is amazing, and 10 is perfect.

annnnd lets not forget!; topic creator in this case means complete and ignorant fool! :)

Are you insane? 6 is the pass mark, every vote under 6 means that the film is somehow lacking something important. A watchable and barely significant movie would get a 6.
This movie is 6.5, I'm really baffled as the rating is absurdly high.

I agree with you. I'm thinking the people that thought this was an excellent film, think the Kardashians have talent. Very average movie that could have been great.

Oh, that's a good one. I love how you group in people that think the Kardashians have talent with people that appreciate the performances of brilliant character actors such as Gyllenhaal, Leo and Dano. What a foolish and juvenile remark.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I attacked each actor individually and not the movie as a whole. It's true...illiteracy and comprehension are at an all time low. It is "infuriating". Good lord dude, go outside.

If you want to critique a movie, don't be degrading and condescending about it or else you invalidate any possible argument you could make.
