This movie should at least have a 7.5 - The Other Guys (2010) Discussion

Exactly! I mean WTF people rate such movies THIS low? Do they even check the cast before watching it? If you don't like Will Ferrell's movies (it happens, many people are snobs or just have no sense of humour), WHY THE HELL BOTHER??? And yet more, this is the best movie Ferrell was in, both humour wise AND production wise! How can you possibly give it anything lower than 8, or at least 7?? A solid 10 from me! Smart, funny, uncut. Even titles in this one have more sense than most "Oscar" movies these days. Apart from The Artist, which is awesome.

some movies deserve an 8 just for a scene alone. and this movie has like 5 such scenes at the very least.

Yeah. I don't get it how this movie has such a low score.
I watched it few days ago, again, and it was great entertainment. One of better comedies in my opinion.

Anyone know how come this movie rates so low?

My guess would be people seeing Dwayne Johnson and the Rock were in it. They went in expecting a normal action movie and then got disappointed. Of course the intellegent humor flew right over their heads. This isn't a movie that would appeal to your typical action loving crowd.

And on some small level, I think you owe me something for deceiving me so exquisitely.

Or maybe there was too much action in it, I was bored alot of times during the chases and gunfights. The comedic scenes were great, though.

Agreeed, 'The Other Guys' is a good comedy film, I love watching it again. Seems to have been overlooked by so many. Only 6.6 ? Can any one tell me why ?

This is the End sucks. Team America is great, I just watched it earlier this day actually. But neither of them are the 'best comedies ever made'. Airplane is.
