i agree, i gave it a 7. today i would give it an 8. it's utterly funny, not kid-like superbad stupid funny, but really funny. the whole gator story was stealing my sleep for days! I'm still chuckling when thinking about it.

best buddy movie since die hard 3.

you shameless bastards!! I trusted you guys.. and watched the whole movie! So I'm joining the club by saying YES! THIS IS THE MOST ENTERTAINING COMEDY I'VE EVER WATCHED IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!1 The humour is so smart and hilarious, I was literally pissing myself!! I don't know how in the world this movie has such a low scores.. it should be at least 9.0!! Yes! AWESOME!! I probably gonna watch it again and tell all my friends to do the same! Amazing movie!!

I checked superbad's rating and it's sitting pretty at 7.7.

Imo the ratings should be switched (i.e. other guys getting a 7.7 with superbad at a 6.5)

i think Superbad should be around 5.5. It's just not funny, unless you like fart jokes.

Gave it a 5/10. Didn't deserve more.

Only thing that saved the movie was Dwayne/Jackson part in the begining, so over the top and hilarious, great stuff.

Sadly the rest of the movie most of the stuff you've seen before, Wahlberg meets Ferrel's wife, shes gorgeous and ofc Ferrel acts like she is just a plain girl, unoriginal and have seen it before.

Car chase / fighting in the car, someone pushes the radio and Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up comes on, rickrolling is about 3-4 years old, rolled my eyes.

and what else... don't really remember everything but really felt the Ferrel / Wahlberg characters were kinda boring.

Oh and the fact the movie is almost 2 *beep* hours long (Unrated version) is just so annoying, so many scenes you coulda trimmed down and made the movie alot better.

Agreed. A very memorable movie with great jokes and cast on top form. My second favourite comedy film to 'Hot Fuzz'. The chemistry and timing between Will and Mark is hilarious.

Yeah, this is one of my favorite comedies of all time. I didn't expect to like it because I'm not a big Will Ferrell fan (I prefer Adam Sandler's brand of stupidity), but he and Mark Wahlberg make a hilarious buddy team, plus there are some good stunts and action.

The movie is packed with so many brilliantly funny little things, like the bad guys putting linseed oil on Allen's dummy wooden Glock, the other guys getting bribed with Jersey Boys tickets, and using a Prius for most of the car chases. Not to mention a scalding hot Eva Mendes. Gator needs his gat, you punk-ass bitch!

I give it a solid 8.

Yeah, I came here and was shocked at the score. I'm guessing that a lot of the humour went over a lot of the peoples heads. It was a brilliant movie and definitely a top 3 Will Ferrell comedy.
