The man with the tattoo plot. Spoilers!

At the end of Season 1 we were left with the cliffhanger of the man with the tattoo.

I really thought this plot would dominate the entire season.

But it ended quickly with Lawson caught and the series moved to the Trammell plot.

It’s like the writers didn’t know how to make it last and wrapped it up quickly.

That subplot was not in the books, so the writers seemed to have just put it in to pad the run time.
