I found this to be one of the saddest and moving films I've watched in a really long time. I enjoyed how we were confined to just his apartment as it made this guy's world so much smaller. The only thing that seemed to bother me was a couple of times while other characters are talking, he was able to sneak up on their conversations which made no sense as he can barely move. I thought the acting of everyone involved was outstanding. Overall a great film.

I was not impressed with this film at all, and I like a lot of Aronofsky's previous works. The writing was highly mediocre and everything felt so forced. It was like the film was telling me to feel a certain way instead of actually making me feel it. The Wrestler, which has a similar vibe, is approximately 1000x better.
