I watch this show for only one thing

The introduction of so much Star Wars lore, including my new favourite character, Black Krrsantan. I can't wait to see him on-screen with every new episode now.

I just don't care about Boba as a character or his story.

Black K isn't the ONLY reason, but he's definitely a highlight. He is a mean mother fucker. A monster. I could legit see him going toe-to-toe with Vader, especially if armed with a few more gadgets. He is right up there with Vader as one of the most intimidating characters the franchise has ever seen. Give that wookie as much screen time as the show allows.

Speaking of monsters, that thing killed in the desert was also super cool. We probably won't ever see another one again, but I'd love to see more. It looked excellent and was imposing.

I can respect the writers changing Boba, just about everyone changes with age, but him being SOOO different than he was in Mando just last year feels off. Go watch those fight clips in Mando. He WHOOPED. ASS. He takes Bib's throne by force. In this show, outside of the fight with the monster in the desert, he has largely looked weak. They've established he doesn't want to work for others anymore. That's perfectly fine. THAT is growth and character development.

I did like he Sand People stuff. Really cool seeing his post-Sarlaac - his escape itself was awesome btw- life and more on them. But at the same time, it really doesn't feel like the coldblooded killer from the trilogy or even Mando. It's not the same person and it's obvious.

I did not like the assassin fight or lame speeder chase. They were both very droid factory, Jar Jar, Canto Blight and other low points in the franchise. The fight was too much Buffy the Vampire Slayer or some other CW show. The gang in of themselves didn't bother me, but their bikes and that chase? Yikes! Same goes for that scene where Fennick was healed.

This show is truly down the middle to me. Disappointing on some levels, but there are things I like about it.
