When Bane & co. capture the plane and kidnap the Doctor, why was Bane giving a blood transfusion to the Doctor...who was the guy in the bag getting pumped full of the Doctor's blood?

He is putting Dr. Pavel's blood into the body so that when the dead guy's remains are found and tested, the authorities will think he was Dr. Pavel.
