Is this the worst 'number three' entry EVER in CBM history?

Since the obvious and growing consensus looking back over time finds most people really hating this movie and being severely let down by it I think it's now a fair question. Is this the worst #3 movie ever in CBM history?

Yes, all-time.

It's bad, we can all agree on that but is it judged even more harshly because it followed a good second movie in the trilogy? The same thing seems to happen with Spider-Man 3 and SM3 is nowhere near as bad as TDKR.

Is this really worse than the awful X3, Superman III or Batman Forever???

No, far from it and you are crazy if you compare it to Spiderman doing faggyass dances or the retarded comedy of Superman 3. Not to mention that Batman Forever sucks monkey balls too. It may be a disappointment for some, but TDKR is still a good movie: those other 3 are not.

I don't disagree with your assessments of Superman 3 and BF. I didn't like Spiderman 3 all that much, but not because of his dancing.

I thought that part fit in with what was going on with him being taken over by Venom. Peter went from still being a dork to having more confidence to Venom being out of control and turning Peter into an unbearable douche-bag.

Considering how good it might have been with minor improvements to the script, yes, it's the worst 'turd part' of a trilogy ever.

That honor belongs to Iron Man 3.

According to my rankings it is the greatest #3 entry ever and the third best sequel (behind Empire and Godfather II).

For me the worst third entry ever is Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
