Season Two Episode Four....Caution possible Spoiler. Cameron and Ethan

In the episode, Cameron told Ethan while lying together in the same bed, “I love you. I just wanna be inside you. I wanna do stuff to you. I wanna make you feel good.”
Was he kidding? Was Cameron just playing Ethan? Did they have some history of,"Experimenting" while at college. In this the result of lingering Molly? I have never taken Molly but I understand it can make one very empathetic. Any thoughts anyone?

That's also what I thought is that they might have been LOVERS back when they were still college roommates. And if he still had romantic feelings for Cameron, then that could also explain the reason why Ethan kept refusing to have sex with his wife.

But unfortunately, now we'll also NEVER know if that theory was right or not.

Cameron was giving bisexual vibes the entire season with how child-like he was. So it was in character for him to proposition Ethan in the moment when he found him to be most vulnerable.
