Ninety percent of Americans wanted to ignore the Nazis scourge ... wanted to ignore the plight of European Jews ... wanted to leave France and England to wither at Hitler's hand. Yet in this film we learn that the America ... thanks to the Unitarian Church ... had it's own version of Sir Nicholas Winton!

Thank you PBS and Ken Burns for telling this fascinating story! It makes this American prouder!

It was on film, so it must be true! Americans hated jews and the british. Both snobby elitist scum who practice nepotism and racism. The U.S. did everything to keep them out of power here since it's inception, but that all ended after the world, and nothing has been the same. A complete 180.
