The end was crazy. At first I thought that Dan was trapped with Kaelego. After you see his shocked expression, you can see the reflection of the Twin Towers in NYC.

Yes. I figured they are in NYC in 1994, and will likely show the twin towers, but the reflection worked just as well. I thought HOW he ended up in 1994 was a bit...underwhelming in terms of making sense, but yes. The ending was trippy/clever. Setting up a season 2, which I did NOT think was going to happen until right near the end.

Hadn't noticed that. Maybe it looks clearer in HD. At least the TV makes the date obvious.
I thought it might all have been a dream, but then would a 9/11 reference still have the same effect on the character?
