Where are all the battles!

I wanted to see why he was considered a military genius.
Not wallowing around like a cuck with his slut wife for 90% of the movie.
All of a sudden he was emperor and only one short battle was shown before he was even a General.
I'm sure there were many battles that could have been shown - instead they go straight to his only loss at Waterloo.
I guess I'll find a true documentary on this, as my interest is piqued now.

I haven't seen this yet, but it does sound disappointing if there aren't more battle scenes. Maybe the 4 hour cut that's rumored to come to Apple tv+ later this year will show more battles.

There were FIVE battle scenes man. Not sure how much more you wanted without it turning into a b movie action scene. I'd rather watch his interpersonal dynamics than hours of uniformed guys marching around in formation shooting each other. I'd say they about covered it, his first becoming a war hero (Toulon), his peak (Austerlitz), and then the downfall (Russia and Waterloo).

agreed there were plenty, and the last one is one of the best ever
