what was the point of (spoilers)

Adan's step mother (Julieta) mentions that she is allergic to shrimp. So as we know a good script will make this a factor in the story. So yes, later on at the engagement party, and briefly in the background, Julieta has an allergic reaction and is rushed off screen by Adan's dad, Hernan. And that is it. We never see her again, the incident isn't mentioned, she isn't mentioned, there is no impact on the story. I can only assume that originally it was going to lead to something that was later cut out.
