one of the worst shows i've ever seen, no exaggeration

This show is absolutley terrible. Completely horrible. There is nothing good that I can say about this *beep* I watched the pilot thinking "eh, nothing else on, how bad can it be?" That was a huge mistake. I'm getting so sick of Tyler Perry. Everything he makes completely sucks ass, he just needs to stop. All of his movies are horrible, and don't even get me started on House of Payne. And why does he have to put his name in front of everything he does? No one cares. Seriously, how long can this go on?

"What an excellent day for an exorcism."

i don't care about the quality of his shows. I just want to watch one nba game on TNT without being bombarded with 600 commercials for his show that I would never tune into

I'm black and I don't like House of Payne or Meet the Browns. At the same time, I don't like any of the comedies on television now.

I agree with you. My husband and I tried to watch a few episodes not too long ago, but it was really unbearable. The acting is not good at all. Many of the times, the acting is way over the top - exaggerated. The show tries soooo hard to be funny, and the laughs seem so fake. The story lines are juvenile - the reason why I say this is because it doesn't seem that the development of the plots are sophisticated. Instead, I get the sense that it's too straight in your face. Definitely, need better writers. The jokes are very forced and not funny at all.

Whatever happen to great TV shows such as Family Matters and Fresh Prince of Bel Air?

Before anyone starts calling me a racist and that I must be white, I am not. I am East Asian and my husband is West African - both of us came here as immigrants many years ago.

I never understood why many said Tyler Perry's shows and films are horrible. Until one day I watched some of his works. I have to say that I would prefer watching his movies than his TV series, but I would never paid to go to the theater to watch them. They are not worth it. I am sure he's a great guy and really proud of him of how far along he's come from his rough personal life. But really, I wish his works were/are much more meaningful and well-crafted.

I like the fact that he puts his name before the title of each movie or TV show. That way it's easier to spot his "work" and avoid it like the plague. I don't understand how he's so rich. Give that money to me - I'll record my cat doing funnier things.
