Well his shows must not be that bad cause if they were they would be cancelled already. So somebody watches them. I hate it when people get on here and bash shows esp when they still come on.

Well all I can say I just watched two episodes of this for the first time and in fact sitting here watching it with my mother now. She thinks its 'hilarious'. I havent laughed once and its the most painful two hours I had in a long time watching. This and House of Pain seems to be very standard, bland comedies that were done in the 70s. I cant believe people like them today. I dont get it, but my own mother likes it lol, so someone is into it. But again, she likes Perrys movies and I cant stand them. I got through two of them and it was enough.

These shows feel too much like minstel shows to me. I dont get why Perry is so sucessful, but that said, if people enjoy what he does and delivers for them, I cant be too mad at him.

But his material his crap IMO.

I could see giving it a chance watching 1 episode,not liking it & not watching it again. but ppl that dislike eveything he does will keep watching faithfully every week! & then come to the board to complain. makes no sense to me. & they seem to know the characters & plots better than ppl that actually enjoy the show.

Couldn't think of two better words to describe this and pretty much anything else this guy makes. The 30 second commercials alone are near torture when they come on. His movies are terrible too. I had to sit through that stupid married movie on my to Acapulco a few spring breaks ago; I figured I would have enjoyed pretty much anything they played on that flight considering where I was going, but boy was I wrong.

It never ceases to amaze me when people long-windedly complain about TV shows that they don't like...as if they are being forced to watch them. I think what really bothers these whining naysayers is that they know that others enjoy it, and that the shows are still a success without their approval or support. Meet The Browns is a hit for TBS, and probably will remain on the air indefinitely. Don't like it? *shrugs* Oh well. Either don't watch it, or continue to be irked.

This show is absolutley terrible. Completely horrible. There is nothing good that I can say about this *beep* I watched the pilot thinking "eh, nothing else on, how bad can it be?" That was a huge mistake. I'm getting so sick of Tyler Perry. Everything he makes completely sucks ass, he just needs to stop. All of his movies are horrible, and don't even get me started on House of Payne. And why does he have to put his name in front of everything he does? No one cares. Seriously, how long can this go on?

He will stop making this stuff, when he starts losing money. As long as he is raking in more and more money, you will see him more, and considering that TBS just ordered more from him, and this is being sent out in syndication, you will be bothered by more of his products being around.
Just think of his name always being in front of his work, as a special blessing just for you. Since you hate his work so much, it will make it easy for you to avoid it.

excuse me??! i haven't watched many of tyler perry's movies but I know that diary of a mad black woman was a great movie so you need to stop being so negative. stop hatin and get a hobby
