realisticly the keagan character would straight murder mr bobo, his axe handling is ridiculously awesome

He was quite a bad ass villain:)

I thought he was the highlight of the movie, a well developed villian, lethal and smart. I found myself rooting for him at the end. Hope he gets to prove himself in more action leads.

What amazes me is how people can think of Momoa's acting and part as impressive and well developed.

This guy is able to make bad acting look worse. Of course, the script was horrible, so he's not totally to blame.

I'm doubting so, he's been having hand weapons play since his days of Stargate Atlantis. Plus don't forget Game of Thrones.

Axes and swords are completely different weapons in terms of balance and tactics. Swords break. Axes don’t; but the Viking battleaxes were much shorter and subsequently with a lower polar moment of inertia than a firefighter’s ax. So, no, Khal Drogo’s training would not have translated into any advantage in this “fight” scene. Mamoa’s arms and legs were half the size they are now. At age 66, Sly OWNED Mamoa in that fight. Call me when you are 66 and tell me how buff and rad you are.

what a ba dass! hair up or down, shirt on or off, wielding a gunf of an axe, this dude was way cool and i will see the new Conan now that I saw what he can do. although i don't have very high hopes for that movie lol..
