I cry every single time

I think it depends on the viewer, but i have cried in the end all 4 times i ve seen this movie. The final scene is phenomenal in terms of music, acting and directing.

I cried. Then I rewatched it with my younger sister and we both cried. then we both rewatched and cried again. Now every time she comes home - she lives 100 miles away and comes home once a month or so - we watch it and cry. So there.

Just watched it for the sixth time and it always happens, the ending is just beautiful

I tear up every time. I've watched it bout same amount of times and yeah everytime as soon as the music starts playing at the end my eyes water up and just love it.

I do love this movie. It's on right now on Spike channel.

Oh, Tommy!
*sigh*

reply

I hope more people get exposed to it now that its on Spike, although my cable listing does not have any other listings in the near future. Hopefully they play it again soon.

The scene where nolte relapses is super sad

reply

It's just as touching when Tommy realises he's pushed his father too far causing him to relapse back into drinking then sits on the bed with him.

reply

Me too!

reply

Same here...also the scene where the bro's father starts drinking again. Nick Nolte's acting was absolutely amazing.

reply

Strange I didn't the first time, but on my second viewing I did when Tommy snaps on his father in the casino. Close to home in that scene...

reply

Yeah, that scene gets me every time I re-watch it, and especially the following scene when nick nolte relapses... brutal
