Good to see a western with potential

The trailer looks very good. Nice subtle menacing quality to the unassuming farmer.

I agree. I just randomly found the trailer and watched it. Had never heard of the film before.

It looks like a solid low-budget western. I'm interested.

I AM A BIG TIM BLAKE NELSON FAN,BUT HADN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE...IT LOOKS AWESOME...I TOO AM INTERESTED.

I didn't know the name and honestly didn't recognize him either, but looking at his filmography I see that he's done a few things I've seen. I now remember him from Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

This thing looks like it was produced on a relative shoestring and is very small in scope, but good writing and acting can overcome budgetary limitations.

OH BROTHER WHERE ART THOU? AND A MOVIE HE DIRECTED CALLED CHERISH ARE THE THINGS I THINK OF WHEN I THINK OF TIM BLAKE NELSON.

reply

It is low budget (only a few locations) but don't let that put you off, the acting and characters are great, it comes with a very rewarding reveal too.

Cool. The trailer was certainly intriguing so I'm glad to hear that. I'll have to check it out.

Best film I've seen this year!

I watched it last night.

It's good. I would say it delivers on what is promised in the trailer.

It's a small, clearly modestly-budgeted western that tells a simple but interesting story and does it well. There's some great cinematography, good direction, and fine performances from its small cast.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the twist regarding Henry's identity. That was strange and felt like something out of a different movie.

It's certainly one of the more interesting films I've seen in recent memory. I'd give it a 7.5/10.
