The questionable penalty that Argentina was awarded is not surprising seeing how they were favouring Argentina the entire tournament. That penalty broke a record for most penalties awarded to one team in a single tournament. That's 5 penalties in 6 games.

FIFA wanted Portugal out by making 5! referees from Argentina officiate their game against Morocco. They are clearly anti-Ronaldo and pro-Messi.

This post makes no sense. When Juventus scored 71 goals and won 27 games in 2005, their title was stripped from them because of corruption. By your logic, it can't be corruption because Juventus scored legitimate goal and won legitimate games.

They keep saying this is Messi’s last dance. But Messi will be back in 2026. This is just another phony ploy to “give” him this game for his “resume.” The refs have been overprotective. Even announcers. He has so many people assisting him. There is this incessant need to elevate and complete his life. He is completely overshadowing his team and, in this greatest final game, with crystal clarity for himself, he sees (and we see) he is NOT the world’s best player.
