Just watched it...IMO Critics are off

I just watched Venom...

and have came to the conclusion, Critics were simply wrong here...

let me first say,I in no way consider this a good or great movie.

I rated it a 6.5 to 7/10...fun and decent.

but I just do not see An AWFUL movie here or movie that deserved the Level of Bad reviews this film got.

If I knew nothing about this film, after watching it I would expect to go to RT and see maybe a rating between 55 to 65% on RT...

so when I say critics got it wrong, I'm not saying "Its Great and They are wrong about it being awful.."

I'm saying I think this film probably deserved to get average to slight above average reviews...

IMO reviews should have been in the 6 to 6.5 range or B- to B range...

This was not one of the worst CBM's ever as the reviews suggest....this was no where near BvS or Suicide Squad level bad...

I'm not entirely sure why critics judged this film so harshly...Tom Hardy's Performance was kinda odd, The story wasn't deep....But Its had its moments, It was fun.

I'm not saying critics are wrong, Just that I seemed to have liked the movie more than them

This was an average to slightly above average film....I was and am surprised by it....nothing in the trailers excited me...

But I just watched it and enjoyed it

The trailers looked bad, the pre-release buzz was bad and I think critics just decided this was an easy film to dog-pile on, the same as "First Man" is an easy film to praise.

did you just think it was ok or did you love it?

I thought it was the most enjoyable superhero film I had watched in 2018.
