I hated that part too. He discharged the gun twice within a span of a minute. The first accidental one should've scared him so much that he would never put a finger on the trigger again. But he does it again.

I can't read Spanish and would like to see how this is done in the comics. Maybe they are less annoying and more believable there. In the film, I had a hard time believing they'd risk running through sewers just for a bit of fun and exploration. When you see high police presence and an entire building covered in tarp, something tells me to stay away.
